Join AEU members, male and female, for a great evening with a guest speaker, good food and lots of other surprises.
International Women’s Day is officially held on the 8th March. The AEU will celebrate the event on Friday the 4th March. This is a day where women all over the world stand together to celebrate the progress that has been made for women’s rights and working conditions and acknowledge what changes are still to be made.
Professor Marian Baird will be the speaker at the AEU International Women’s Day event. Professor Baird is Professor of Gender and Employment Relations Joint Editor in Chief, The Journal of Industrial Relations Director and Director of The Women and Work Research Group.
Book early as the places fill up quickly. We can accommodate large groups if given enough notice. Parking will start to fill up quickly for Enlighten so come early. Take the opportunity to visit the Behind the Lines 2015 Exhibition at The Museum of Democracy, just across the road, before the dinner.
The AEU welcomes male members who would like to attend this event.
