The following free information sessions are open to all members.

May 1 Navigating Annual Professional Discussions
Annual professional discussions can be challenging for both teachers and principals. This session is designed to help you feel confident about your rights and responsibilities and the best approach to take to the discussion.

May 6 Wealth Creation with Jennie Murray
Jennie Murray from State Super Financial Services provides advice on managing your finances to grow your wealth over time.

May 7 Retirement Planning Session
If you are over 45 and thinking ahead to your retirement, there are some planning issues it's prudent to consider now. Includes Q & A. Partners of AEU members are welcome. The session will be conducted by Jennie Murray from State Super Financial Services.

May 8 Understanding worker’s compensation
This will session will both provide an overview of worker's compensation and explore how it applies to to injuries which are psychological in nature.

May 15 Understanding Your Super
Tom Babic from First State Super explains the fundamentals of superannuation. The session will cover the following topics:

• How much do I need for retirement?
• How to put money into super
• Insurance and Nominating Beneficiaries
• Investments
• Retirement income

May 29 Maternity Leave Information Session
AEU ACT Schools Organiser, Kate Reynolds, will lead this session on navigating maternity leave.

June 26 Retirement Planning Session
