DESCRIPTION:The 2026 AEU Awards Night is an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements and contributions of our members. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a night of celebration on Friday 26 June. \n\n\nThis year’s awards night will be a cocktail-style event with substantial canapes and open bar\, which we’re excited to be hosting at CIT Woden. \nOur award categories recognise that great educators are great unionists too: \nAEU Emerging Activist Award – Celebrating newer members making an impact\nAEU School Assistant Activist Award – Recognising the vital contributions of our school assistants\nAEU CIT Activist Award – Honouring activism in our CIT sector\nAEU Cultural Integrity Award – Acknowledging those promoting cultural integrity in education\nAEU Friend of Public Education Award – Recognising public education champions outside our membership\nAEU Advocate of the Year Award – Celebrating exemplary union leadership and activism \nNominate here: 2026 AEU Awards Night Nomination Form – Fill out form \n\nEarly bird tickets: $60 (available until 31 May)\nStandard tickets: $80 (from 1 June)\nTicket sales close: 13 June (unless sold out earlier)\n\nConnect with colleagues\, celebrate achievements\, and enjoy an evening that recognises the heart of our union – our members. \nWe can’t wait to see you there!
