A practical guide approved under WHS law that explains how to meet legal health and safety duties on a particular topic. Codes aren’t strictly mandatory, but an employer that doesn’t follow one needs to achieve an equivalent or higher standard of safety, and codes can be used as evidence of what’s “reasonably practicable”.
