This amazing PL, organised by the ACT History Teachers, in collaboration with the National Archives will discuss the documentary ‘Brazen Hussies‘.

The PL will combine themes of gender equality, unionism and history and will involve a stellar panel, including;

• Elizabeth Reid AO – the world’s first ever Women’s Adviser, within the Whitlam Government.
• Biff Ward- Women’s Liberation activist, author.
• Producers from the film ‘Brazen Hussies’, a nation-leading documentary on this period.
• Angela Burroughs- AEU ACT President, to discuss the role of unions through this period.
