This intensive workshop is designed for union delegates and members interested in joining the Unions for YES campaign. You will orient your understanding of Voice, Treaty, Truth, in the context of advocacy and the work unions do. You will:

• learn about the history of the First Nations peoples’ struggle for recognition in the constitution.
• understand the significance of the Uluru Statement from the Heart
• learn practical techniques to advocate and campaign on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers in events and campaigns
• develop skills and confidence to handle objections.
• learn effective messaging and mapping actions, including social media.
